Without the generosity of our donors, we simply couldn’t accomplish all we do for the hundreds of people who participate each year in our events — all designed to bring hope and healing to active-duty military veterans and others who have spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries and an array of mental health challenges.
As always, we’re deeply grateful for every dollar of support we receive. We invite contributions directly on our website and through the profile page we have created as part of the annual Colorado Gives initiative, which runs now through Colorado Gives Day, Dec. 5. Please consider sharing a link to either of these online giving pages with your personal and professional networks — with our profound thanks in advance.
Anglers of Honor works organizes and leads therapeutic fly fishing outings for the people we serve through referrals from an array of agencies, including Craig Hospital and its Operation TBI Freedom, the Fort Carson Soldier Recovery Unit and the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. Each event participant receives training from one of our expert guides and spends time on the pristine waters of the Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club to catch and release trout. After the fishing ends, the fun and friendship continue over lunch.
